BIO

Christina is a partner in PORTAL serving as its head of operations. She has built a career focused on operations and partnership management.

Before joining PORTAL, Christina served as Chief Operating Officer of biometric technology company Decatur Europe, Ltd. Previously, she was Senior Manager of Global Partnerships at Twitter, where she worked with the platform’s biggest advertisers and content partners. As the first Program Manager on Twitter’s Brand Strategy team, Christina scaled operations and production from a 5-person outfit working in the U.S. to a global team delivering high-impact, bespoke programs.

Most recently, Christina was a venture partner of Strawberry Creek Ventures (part of the Alumni Ventures Group family of funds) and founded and built TotScene, a digital hospitality resource for parents. She serves as a board member for The Mom Economy, a 501(c)(3) organization driving advocacy and raising awareness and financial support for parental leave initiatives in the United States. Christina started her career in finance (Thomas Weisel Partners) and brand management (The Clorox Company).

Christina received her MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley at the Walter A. Haas School of Business.

Fun Facts

I was born (and raised) in San Francisco to Russian and Greek immigrant parents from South America and am mom to two brilliant little humans and a Doodle. I’m an avid SCUBA diver, passionate yoga practitioner, and eager beginning tennis player. Studying foreign languages is a deep passion of mine, likely inspired by being raised trilingual. Holistic wellness is a major values tenet in my life. I am a certified integrative health coach and actively building my practice to support and complement my work at PORTAL.
